Misdirected Lashes Trichiasis

Lashes can become misdirected and grow towards the eye resulting in ocular surface irritation as it rubs along the inner surface of the eyelids, conjunctiva, and/or the cornea.  This condition can occur in children and adults and can be caused by infections, trauma, inflammation, blepharitis, and some autoimmune conditions.

There are treatment options for this condition.  The approach taken is dependent on the cause and extent of the misdirected lashes.  Dr. Parbhu will tailor the best procedural or surgical approach to remove the misdirected lashes.
