Tear Duct – Lacrimal Surgery

Tearing may occur from overproduction of tears or from insufficient drainage. Evaluation of tearing involves assessing the lacrimal system to help determine the cause. The cause for tearing can sometimes be due to something that does not require surgical treatment such as dry eyes, which can cause reflex tearing.

However, if it does require surgical intervention, Dr. Parbhu specializes in lacrimal surgeries including canalicular repair, intubation of Crawford stents, dacryocystorhinostomy, and conjunctivodacryocystorhinostomy.
